No upfront account creation is needed to start shopping. FloatPay works as a checkout payment method. You'll create a payment profile the first time you use FloatPay at any store.
Yes, select partner stores accept FloatPay in-store. Look for the FloatPay payment terminal or ask staff. The full list of in-store locations is available in our store directory.
If a scheduled debit fails (e.g. insufficient funds), a once-off R99 late fee is charged to your account. This fee does not compound — it's a flat R99 per missed payment. You'll receive an SMS and email to let you know, and have 5 days to make the payment manually before the next attempt.

FloatPay works with all major South African banks — any account that supports debit orders. If you hold a valid SA cheque, savings, or transaction account at a registered South African bank and have it enabled for debit, you're set.
